It’s been to Windows 8 platforms and Xbox One, but here comes a version for the Xbox 360.
Shrunk down to bite-sized form, Halo squeezes into the meager frame of the top down shooter. Meant for rushed play on tablets, design has not changed for the homes consoles. Missions are short without fulfilling design. While the elements of Halo are unquestionably present, the heart of the franchise is scrapped. Limited co-op and and the unfortunate application of microtransactions further erode this simple, fast-paced shooter. While mechanically sharpened, this only wears the Halo name as opposed to utilizing it in full.
