If you need something retrotastic (?) for your Wii U and do not feel like paying for games you have already purchased, then Nintendo’s Virtual Console deals are probably for you.
Seven months of deals are incoming, beginning right now with the early NES gem Balloon Fight. Total cost to you, Mr. Digital Downloader? A whopping $.30. Thirty. Cents.
Future games include hectic SNES racer F-Zero, NES boxing champion Punch-Out, generous platformer Kirby’s Adventure, one of the best adventures ever in Super Metroid, NES late release puzzler Yoshi, and the original Donkey Kong in July.
So, how is it fair again to pay $1.50 to port one of your own games when these are a paltry thirty cents?
