Vastly underrated kart racer Sonic & Sega All Star Racing is getting a sequel, deservedly so too. Due out on PS3, 360, 3DS, Vita, and PC, Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed looks to up the game, leaving land behind for air and sea battles too. Swaps happen on the fly, meaning courses can be extravagant without being locked to one type of surface (or any at all for that matter).
Sega is boosting the roster to include Gillius Thunderhead from Golden Axe and Vyse from Skies of Arcadia, the latter another of Sega’s lot that needs a sequel. The holiday treat will include a course based on Panzer Dragoon too, meaning Sega is mining even deeper into their rich legacy for content.
Note the Wii will not be part of the development even though the first game was prominent on the hardware.
